A full body cardiovascular aerobic class using elevated platforms (steps). The creator of the step class suffered a knee injury, and under the advisement of an orthopedic doctor, he suggested that he strengthen his knee by stepping on and off a milk crate. Advanced Step is a great class for someone who wants to burn calories, as well as strengthen their knee joints and muscles.
